This production line is specially designed for the precision machining of core components such as new-energy motor shafts, with a maximum machining length of up to 500 mm and a maximum machining diameter of up to 320 mm. It significantly enhances both machining efficiency and accuracy, making it particularly well-suited for large-scale, high-precision grinding of motor shafts used in new-energy vehicles.

As a core and critical component in the new-energy vehicle industry chain, the motor shaft within the drive motor is itself a key part of the entire drive motor—truly serving as the “hub” for power transmission.

Grinding electric spindles not only demands extremely high precision but also requires the ability to machine complex shapes such as steps. ■ Excellent high-speed grinding performance 
Equipped with a CBN wheel rotating at 120 m/s, this tool features a high-precision grinding process that enables one-pass straight cutting of the rotor position in the middle of electric motor shafts with widths ranging from 300 mm. Specifically designed for high-speed grinding, it ensures excellent workpiece surface quality while significantly boosting grinding speed.

 

■ Dual-spindle, dual-drive 
By adopting a dual-spindle, dual-drive synchronous rotation technology with head and tailstock spindles, the conventional headstock lever is eliminated, thereby avoiding head-turning and secondary re-clamping caused by frequent fixture changes. This significantly enhances machining efficiency as well as positioning accuracy and precision.

 

■ Stable machining performance 
Driven by a linear motor, the fully closed-loop control system ensures long-term stability in X-axis positioning accuracy and reduces losses caused by equipment errors.

 

■ Powered by an intelligent measurement system

Equipped with online outer-diameter measurement, online end-face measurement, empty-travel prevention for collision avoidance, an online dynamic balancing system, and a multi-stage grinding fluid filtration system with constant-temperature water cooling, this equipment enhances its automation level, ensures stable machining accuracy in mass production, and meets complex production requirements.
