On April 9, 2016, Li Wanlai, President of the Lianyungang City Corporate Culture Association, led more than 50 entrepreneurs on a one-day visit and inspection to our company.

“Gather positive energy and jointly realize the Chinese dream of a strong nation,” “Study classical Chinese texts and forge the soul of our faith,” “Put the ‘Disciples’ Rules’ into practice and build a vibrant family culture”... As guests approached Jack Machine Tool, they were deeply moved by the company’s rich atmosphere steeped in traditional Chinese learning. During their on-site visit to the production floor, the guests were even more amazed by the clean and orderly workplace management, the employees’ passionate spirit, and the cutting-edge technology of the CNC follow-up grinding machines—constantly eliciting exclamations of admiration: “Wow, that’s impressive!”

After the tour concluded, Mr. Chen Huagui, the elder leader of Jack Machine Tools, delivered a keynote speech titled “Promoting Traditional Culture, Purifying Social Hearts, and Together Realizing the Dream of a Strong Nation.” With his witty and humorous speaking style and an abundance of down-to-earth, practical examples, he won round after round of applause and high praise from the guests in attendance. Chairman Li Wanlai gave a concluding remark, highly commending Jack Group’s corporate culture as well as the personal charisma of elder leader Chen Huagui. Chairman Li also said that so-called “management” is simply about managing oneself well and clarifying relationships.

In the afternoon, Jack’s family presented, in the form of a show, some of their phased achievements under the theme: “Studying Classical Chinese Classics to Cultivate the Soul of Faith; Practicing the Rules for Disciples to Build a Family Culture.” Jack’s family’s sincere and heartfelt performance moved the guests present and won unanimous praise from them.

Chairman Li Wanlai delivered a lecture on the theme of “Chinese Traditional Culture.” In his lecture, he brilliantly covered four key aspects: the context behind the current “frenzy” surrounding Chinese traditional culture; what culture truly is; organizational culture—corporate culture; and the crucial life question of “choice.” He vividly explained questions such as: “What is ‘morality’? What are the ‘Five Constants’? What are the ‘Five Relationships’? And what exactly is ‘culture’?”

Chen Huagui, the elder leader of Jack Machine Tools, shared the phased achievements and experiences of Jack’s initiative—“Studying classical Chinese texts, cultivating the soul of faith, practicing the Rules for Disciples, and building a family culture”—and interacted with the guests, answering their questions one by one. With this, the inspection activity came to a successful conclusion.

In the afternoon of April 26, the 9th “Jack Scholarship and Aid Fund” award ceremony was solemnly held in the Mathematics and Physics Academic Report Hall of Jinggangshan University.
