Maupassant said, “The most beautiful moments of life appear to us when we fondly remember our mothers. It is precisely because the unique qualities that flow through our blood and shine in our words and actions all stem from our mothers’ tireless nurturing and their exemplary teachings.”

On the afternoon of May 7, 2016, as Mother’s Day approached, all the family members of the company gathered on the second floor—a multi-purpose area—to hold an event themed “Passionate May Days, Grateful for Mother’s Day,” aiming to let our “mothers” feel the warmth and care of home. During the event, Elder Chen Huagui expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the female family members of the company, extended deep blessings to the mothers present and to all mothers around the world, and assigned some male family members to present carnations to every female family member.

Since we began studying traditional culture independently and launched the initiative “Put the Rules for Students into Practice, Cultivate a Family Culture, and Build a Loving Family—Starting from the Heart,” our company has seen the emergence of several admirable role models worthy of our learning. During this gratitude event, two family members from the Chinese Classics Class each recited two articles: “Rainbow in the Storm—The Story of Chen Qiufeng’s Family” and “A Sister Who Blossoms Beautifully—The Story of Jackme’s Mother, Liu Qunyan.” Together with all the family members, we learned about the touching stories of these two mothers.
